(Doctor V64) JrSend v0.9 (c) 1998 MFM/EURASiA --------------------------------------------- This is the first Doctor V64 Jr sender program for Linux. It works with both V64 and Z64 files (unlike bung's dos program), and YES it IS tested and works 100% on my Linux 2.0.36 with my V64JR card.I might add that it is NOT a port but a new program. Note that you can't send files that are smaller than 10 mbit (since it will not recalc checksum) and only real n64 rom images (which means you cant send boot emu's). Quick setup dox: ---------------- To specify hardware port address use EXPORT V64JR_PORT=0x378 where you replace 0x378 with your lptX port address in hex (for me its 0x378), and if the variable is not specified it will use 0x378. It's recommended that you put this command in your ~/.profile file. IMPORTANT! jrsend must be set to SUID ROOT (chmod +s jrsend) to be able to use your printer port. Usage ----- Just specify the filename on the command line to send. Example: jrsend mario64.usa Bugreports ---------- If you notice any bugs then you can mail me at tsn@lik-sang.com
